uPerform for Epic
If you are using Epic as your EHR, uPerform is even more powerful. As part of the Epic App Orchard, we can integrate deeply with your environment. Epic TS resources also collaborate to ensure your integration goes smoothly.
With our Epic integration, uPerform can provide an experience specifically tailored for the current Epic user. The education content they get is targeted at their role, specialty, and department whether they ask for contextual help or go through the Learning Library. Your physicians won’t see specialized content for nurses, and your emergency clinicians won’t see content designed for in-patient cancer clinicians.
Knowing which Epic user is accessing the content lets uPerform provide analytics to help you understand content usage such as which resources are being accessed, how often, and how they are getting there. Combined with Epic’s usage and performance analytics, such as PEP and PULSE, your education and support team can quickly target specific needs for individuals and groups of clinicians.
Dynamic learning content dashboard.
Learning Home dashboards give you a way for Epic users to discover education content. However, each dashboard is static, requiring you to create and maintain multiple dashboards to reach different clinician populations. With uPerform’s Learning Library, a single dashboard dynamically delivers content tailored for the individual user. They can choose to consume the content in many different forms, from step-by-step tip sheets to instructional videos.
Access help within Epic.
Research shows that contextual help is accessed 15 to 20 times more often than content hosted outside the software. uPerform’s integration with Epic lets your builders place help buttons and links directly in the software where the help will be easily discovered. You decide which activities, workflows, and features need support and you can position help exactly where it will be most useful. The help then appears where you want it to, with the embedded browser in the main content area or sidebar or launched in an external browser window.
