International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001:2013 Achievement
ANCILE is committed to upholding the highest security standards and best practices to keep your data safe and secure. This year we’ve continued our pursuit of additional certifications to demonstrate our commitment to information security. We are pleased to announce that on December 15th we achieved our ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification, one of the most widely recognized and internationally accepted information security standards. We maintain our certifications and information related to security on our website, Security and privacy, should you need to view or share it internally.
New Epic In-Application Help Integrations
This year we added new integration points in Epic, allowing you to place additional buttons or links to uPerform content in Epic, ensuring your clinicians spend less time searching for help. End-users can now launch learning content and access the Learning Library from:
- Epic F1, Help Button, and Help Search
- Best Practice Advisories
- Learning Home Dashboards

SMART on FHIR Support
We’ve launched SMART on FHIR support, a healthcare industry approved standard that ensures uPerform integrates easily with all your mission-critical applications. With SMART on FHIR, clients now benefit from single sign-on powered by OAuth, providing clinicians a transparent login experience when accessing learning materials from Epic. Epic customers get enhanced administrative functions, including easier and more powerful user and group management, access to more information in user profiles, and better access control.
Helping You Succeed
We’ve expanded our resources to help you get the most out of uPerform.
- Quick start video series: Our Global Customer Support and Success team has created a new series of quick start videos to help authors get up-to-speed on uPerform basics. Your authors can access the library of short videos on our Intelligence Hub.
- Ongoing webinars: We hosted nine webinars this year covering various topics relevant to uPerform authors and administrators. If you missed one of our webinars or are looking for a refresher, sharpen your uPerform skills by visiting our library of webinar recordings available on the Intelligence Hub. Keep an eye out for additional resources coming next year.
- Healthcare virtual forums: We hosted two free networking and learning sessions for uPerform users, including success stories from The Guthrie Clinic, Infirmary Health, and Virginia Hospital Center.
uPerform Learning Library Changes
Starting next year, we’ll be rolling out several improvements to the Learning Library. These changes are based on client feedback we’ve received throughout the year. As part of our enhanced User Management in uPerform Cloud, enhancements include a redesigned home screen with toolbars and quick action buttons making your learning content more accessible than ever before. Our team will guide you through the transition to enhanced User Management when you are ready.
