Global Learning Enablement Software Leader to Share AMA-Compliant Education Best Practices;1,300 Infirmary Health Physicians and Support Staff Trained in Less Than 10 Weeks

Elkridge, Md. (June 26, 2014) – ANCILE Solutions, the global leader of learning and performance enablement software solutions chosen by more than 4,400 organizations and over half of the Fortune 100, was a featured exhibitor at The eLearning Guild’s mLearnCon Mobile Learning Conference & Expo 2014, the leading industry event for technology-supported learning and performance support professionals. ANCILE and Infirmary Health explored the design, development and implementation of an advanced mobile education and training program. The session was held at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina in San Diego.

Vincent Lucey, Director of Enterprise Sales at ANCILE and Bobby Zarr, the IT Director at Infirmary Health shared ANCILE’s collaboration with Infirmary Health to create a customizable training, progress, and knowledge management program. Meeting HIPAA and compliance requirements and support safety initiatives, more than 850 physicians and 500 supporting staff serving more than 100,000 patients each year completed EpicCare Training in less than 10 Weeks.

The joint session, “Leveraging Mobile Devices for Continuing Medical Education,” discussed:

  • The time constraints Infirmary Health was under to introduce EpicCare® EMR into its network
  • Why Infirmary Health turned to ANCILE uPerform™ to ease the speed and effectiveness of its training
  • How more than 850 physicians and 500 support staff were fully trained in eight weeks
  • How Infirmary Health’s in-person training needs were reduced by 33 percent
  • What on the horizon for training in the healthcare industry
