Maryland’s Association for Corporate Growth Honors uPerform for Purchase of RWD Technologies Software Products

Elkridge, MD, November 30, 2011—ANCILE Solutions, Inc., a global company that develops learning and performance software products, is honored to have been named a finalist in The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) – Maryland Chapter’s 2011 Deal of the Year Award competition. ANCILE was nominated in the technology category based on the company’s acquisition of the software products division of RWD Technologies in July 2010.

The Association for Corporate Growth is a network of middle-market deal makers comprised of executives involved in the corporate development, private equity, and investment banking industries, as well as other professionals. The organization’s annual Deal of the Year Award recognizes local business transactions including mergers and acquisitions, financings, alliances, and IPOs, that have impacted the Maryland region and highlights companies and individuals who have been successful in their pursuit of corporate growth through such activity.

“We’re thrilled to be included as a finalist for ACG’s Deal of the Year award,” said Frank Lonergan, CEO of ANCILE. “Since the divesture of RWD in 2010, ANCILE has grown our customer base – adding more than 400 additional customers. It’s an honor to be among other thriving Maryland corporations considered for this award, and we look forward to continued growth and success as we move into 2012.”

Additional finalists in the technology category of ACG’s Deal of the Year include Roadnet Technologies for the acquisition of a subsidiary owned by UPS, Johns Hopkins Medicine & Harris Corporation for the joint venture in Peake Healthcare Innovations, and 3iMIND for the acquisition of iJET International, Inc.
