Our senior management team brings our customers and partners over 28 years of experience in the development and support of the complete ANCILE product portfolio. As part of the formation of ANCILE, the team transitioned from RWD Technologies to launch and lead ANCILE Solutions.
Chief Executive Officer
Eric Grosgogeat is our Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for setting the strategy direction and managing the business operations of ANCILE.
Eric brings extensive executive and general management experience, most recently as CEO for FocusVision, a global technology solutions provider for both quantitative and qualitative market research. While there, Eric significantly grew the business and shifted the business model from technology-enabled services to an SaaS technology based solution.
Prior to FocusVision, Eric served in numerous general management roles at Philips and Procter & Gamble. Eric earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati, a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the Paris Institute of Technology.
Chief Financial Officer
Tom Monteleone is our Chief Financial Officer. Tom is responsible for leading and overseeing tactical and strategic financial operations. A certified public accountant, Tom has nearly two decades of experience in all aspects of strategic finance, including accounting, mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, and corporate operations.
Prior to joining RWD in 2009, Tom was the CFO for AirVersent, an international software firm, where he was responsible for establishing a uniform global financial and accounting organization. Previous to this position, Tom held the positions of Senior Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, and Chief Financial Officer of AscendOne, a technology and services outsourcing company. Tom also served as the Chief Financial Officer for Corestar Financial Group, a venture-backed financial services organization. At Integrated Health Services, he served as manager of acquisitions and corporate development and later served as the director of finance for a $500M division.
Tom launched his career with Ernst & Young. Tom has a Master of Business Administration with a finance concentration and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Loyola University in Maryland.
Chief Product Officer
Rusty is a seasoned technology executive with more than 25 years of product vision, technical and operational leadership and a proven track record of delivering innovative and market leading enterprise-class software products. Previously, Rusty was SVP of Engineering at BoxTone, a leading innovator in the secure mobile management and analytics space. At BoxTone, Rusty led all aspects of technology strategy and product delivery and pioneered the Mobile Service Management product suite from initial concept to sustained customer success at the largest enterprise mobile deployments in the world. When BoxTone was acquired by Good Technology in 2014, Rusty spearheaded the extension of the suite to support the Good Dynamics platform and enabled adoption in 70% of Good’s top 100 enterprise customers.
Prior to BoxTone, Rusty has held various executive positions with early to mid-stage software organizations delivering enterprise software across multiple technology disciplines. Rusty started his career as a co-founder and Vice President of Development at XDB, where he played a central role in creating the world’s first PC-based SQL relational database. When XDB was acquired by Micro Focus, Rusty became responsible for the overall strategy, technical architecture, and product delivery of all Micro Focus middleware and RDBMS technologies. Micro Focus merged with Intersolv to become Merant, where Rusty became additionally responsible for enterprise application servers, development environments and business intelligence solutions generating $150 million annually from large enterprise customers.
Rusty holds a BSE, Systems Engineering degree from Princeton University, and an MS, Information Systems degree from University of Maryland.
Chief Sales and Marketing Officer
Greg Sybersma is our Chief Sales and Marketing Officer charged with leading ANCILE’s marketing, sales, and services teams.
With over 15 years of leadership experience, Greg is a seasoned executive within the education and software industries. Most recently, Greg launched Socrates Connected, a pioneering company that improved the accessibility of university education in Latin America.
Previously, Greg served as Vice President of International Sales at Blackboard, where he significantly expanded its client base to over 60 countries and secured one of Blackboard’s largest customers. Greg also held executive positions at Deltek, a leading provider of project-based software solutions, including leading global channel business and solution sales. Greg started his career at BearingPoint (KPMG Consulting), where he increased sales and managed its Global Partner Sales (GPS) organization.
Greg earned an Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario.
Chief Customer Officer
Dave Baca is our Chief Customer Officer (CCO). Dave is responsible for setting the strategy and overseeing the support business operations, providing our customers with world-class service.
Dave has over 24 years of combined experience in commercial and defense sectors, with half of this experience focused on the use of learning products to support enterprise resource planning (ERP) customers. Prior to becoming CCO for ANCILE, Dave held the position of Division Director for Global Support for RWD from 2008 to 2010. Dave held a variety of software product leadership positions dating back to 1999.
Prior to his time with RWD, Dave held consulting, engineering, and leadership positions in commercial, defense-based, and military sectors. Dave graduated with merit from the U.S. Naval Academy and successfully completed the U.S. Navy nuclear power engineering and submarine warfare curriculum.
Frank has over 25 years of experience in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) field and was formerly the CEO of ANCILE. Prior to becoming the CEO, Frank was Vice President of Product Development and Support for RWD Technologies from 2005 to 2010. During this timeframe, Frank oversaw significant growth in the customer base, expansion of the customer base globally, and expansion of the product portfolio.
Prior to RWD Technologies, Frank spent 11 years at SAP (1994-2005). He held several key positions in the SAP Education line of business. As Vice President of Education Business Development, he was responsible for identifying and introducing education solutions directed at improving the overall user experience for people working with SAP technology.
Additionally, Frank has held various roles of responsibility in both Pansophic Systems and Computer Associates. Frank received his education at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
Frank is a 2013 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® Maryland award winner.
